The Rules of Engagement

Over the Easter long weekend my partner and I went to do our usual family and friends drive rounds. As most of our family live North of Brisbane we can get to most of them over the course of a long weekend. This weekend was no different.

On our way there my partner suggested we stop and climb Wild Horse Mountain. Hey why not, it's the weekend! So up we climbed, the view was magnificent so we took our time enjoying it. Probably more than usual...

Turns out someone was hiding something. Something round and shiny. As soon as we were left alone he got down on one knee and proposed. A very teary "yes" later we are engaged.

Made for a more interesting trip to see all the relatives, particularly their reactions when we waited for them to notice the ring rather than straight out telling them.
