Getting it sorted

In the last few months since I last posted a fair bit has happened. I've bought my wedding dress, I've made my brooch bouquet and my fiancé and I have checked out a property a few times. We have also refinanced our mortgages to get a better interest rate. So now the race is on to pay off at least one of the properties.

Even since refinancing our mortgages we have smashed through our intended payment goal (originally the goal was to get below $400,000 by the end of the year) an have since set another ambitious goal, to get the mortgage down another $18,000 within 2 months to get us to an attractive $350,000. I honestly don't know if its possible - definitely not on just wages alone and particularly coming up to the Christmas season and whilst planning a wedding, but hey... Can't hurt to try right?

Let me know if you have any suggestions on where to trim the fat or even where to gain an extra dollar here and there.
